National Elk Refuge & Sleigh Rides
Just 2.5 miles north of Town Square and overlooking the National Elk Refuge, the Museum houses a world-class collection of American art from the 19th and 20th centuries. Imagine taking a horse-drawn sleigh ride among an elk herd numbering in the thousands. At the National Elk Refuge, such an adventure is available to winter visitors from mid-December through early April via a private contractor, Double H Bar, Inc.
