Groomed daily with a Bombadier with Dual Track Setters which creates excellent XC and Skating Tracks. Jackson Hole Nordic Center has the widest skate lanes in the valley. We offer professional instruction in cross-country, skate, and telemark skiing and we have a complete rental fleet of Nordic Equipment.

CROSS COUNTRY SKI INSTRUCTION
The oldest form of skiing, documented by 4000 year old cave murals in Norway, provides one of the best ways of experiencing winter, improving fitness and learning about skiing. Jackson Hole Nordic’s 20 kilometers of groomed track on snow covered sagebrush ranch land offer easy skiing with optional hill trails and majestic views of the Teton range. Ski with one of our PSIA (Professional Ski Instructors of America) to learn the latest and most efficient technique for enjoying nature’s solitude and serenity.

SKATE SKIING LESSONS
The newest style of skiing in the Nordic family, Skating is a graceful and powerful technique that leaves you breathless in more ways than one. The Jackson Hole Nordic Center is particularly well suited to introduce skiers to this dynamic way of skiing with a combination of great learning terrain and expert instructors. But whether you’re skating for the first time or are an old hand we can help you progress to the next level.

NORDIC SKI FITNESS SESSIONS
While our Cross Country Ski curriculum focuses on technique, your Personal Ski Trainer will assess your fitness goals, plan your workout and coach you through a one, two or three hour session. Sessions include warm-up, stretching a core workout of aerobic, interval or fat-burn. Plan daily sessions, come every other day, or ask your Trainer for a short or long term training plan.

NORDIC SKI FITNESS SESSIONS (with your personal ski trainer) are at the same times as and are the same price as Cross Country Private Lessons

TELEMARK SESSIONS
In addition to great snow and some of the best terrain in North America, Jackson Hole boasts a corp of expert telemark instructors. Learn the turn which dates back to Norwegian Sondre Norheim’s historic jump over his father's barn in Telemark, Norway in 1870. Today, telemark is the equipment of choice for backcountry skiers, who use it to access untracked snow and tour for long distances. Ski with our telemark pros to learn or refine the elegant turn that is admired for its grace around the world.

SNOWSHOE TOURS
Snowshoeing is for everyone! If you can walk, you can snowshoe. Follow our Saddlehorn Snowshoe Trail through the woods beneath Granite Ridge guided by a naturalist who can help you understand winter ecology, animal tracks and signs and natural history of the area. Great for the whole family. Trail pass and snowshoes required (snowshoe rentals can be reserved).

NATURE SKI TOURS in Grand Teton National Park
Cross Country ski with a naturalist/guide beneath the majesty of the heart of the Teton Range. The user-friendly flats to Jenny Lake or the hills around Bradley and Taggart Lakes offer something for everyone. Tour includes lunch (full day), transportation, XC ski instruction, and natural history interpretation. Enrich your trip to the Tetons by getting out into the wilds of the park - learn about plants and animals, geology, human history, and wildlife adaptation to winter.

TELEMARK GUIDED BACKCOUNTRY TOURS
On Teton Pass or Jackson Hole Mountain Resort's Backcountry
This is the premier skiing experience of Jackson Hole’s best. Find the most untracked snow, experience solitude and grandeur and learn backcountry safety and etiquette. Guides will provide coaching, safety and camaraderie. Beacons and shovels provided.

SNOWMOBILE TOURS OF YELLOWSTONE
Enjoy a day with Goosewing Ranch, an outfitter/ guide service in Yellowstone National Park and the surrounding Forest Service Lands. Please call for reservations 307-733-5251.
Tours begin between 6 and 7am with pick-up at your lodging. Inclues breakfast and lunch. tours return between 4 and 6pm.
