Jackson Hole Nordic Center to Open Dog Loop!

(Teton Village, WY., February 6, 2009) We are very pleased to announce to our dog loving community that the Jackson Hole Nordic Center will offer discounted Dog Loop season passes for the remainder of the season, beginning Saturday, February 7th. The dog-friendly terrain will include the Bronco Loop and the necessary trails to get to and from the base (feet) of the bronco. Access will be afforded to season pass holders ONLY, so please support the effort and get your season pass now.

Season Pass holders for the mountain already enjoy full access to the Nordic Trail System. Others may purchase a season pass for themselves for $35. The picture pass for one dog is $10 and $5 for each additional dog, and comes with real picture pass for your dog. Owners must email a digital photo of the dog to seasonpass@jacksonhole.com <mailto:seasonpass@jacksonhole.com> or some arrangements for dog pictures may be available at the Coney Classic on Sunday, February 8. The Ticket Office will NOT be taking pictures of dogs, and requests that you not bring canine friends into the ticket office.

More details:
* Forms will be available at the Nordic center for customers to purchase the passes.
* Customers must pick up season pass at ticket office.
* Customers can come to ticket office to purchase anytime but dogs are not allowed.
* Cooperation of skiers-with-dogs is requested to ensure that dogs use only the Bronco Loop, and the trails needed to get to and from the Bronco Loop. Please keep dogs off of the Thunder Woods, Saratoga, Moraines and Snake River Loop Trails.
* Please pick up after your dog.

Please help us get out the word on this for the enjoyment of all the Valley skiers-with-dogs and their dogs, or dogs-with-skiers and their owners.
