JACKSON HOLE MOUNTAIN RESORT TO OPEN NOVEMBER 29th

“THE BIG ONE” READY TO GO FOR OPENING DAY

(Teton Village, Wyo., November 26, 2008) Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) will begin its winter season on November 29, 2008.

Thanks to over 69 inches of snowfall at upper elevations so far this season, colder temperatures and snow making efforts, we will be operating the Teewinot and Apres Vous lifts which will provide access to the Moran, Werner, Lower Werner and Lower Teewinot runs. A combination of natural and man-made snow on the 2,170 vertical feet off Apres Vous has created a solid base and conditions on the groomed trails are good.  Expect snowmaking operations to continue during opening hours.

In addition to these lifts and terrain, JHMR will open Café 6311, Jackson Hole Sports, Hole in the Wall Snowboard Shop & Jackson Hole Sports Jr.  The Mountain Sports School and Kids Ranch programs, including the Magic Carpet will also be open for the season. The ticket office in the Bridger Center will be open from 8.00am onwards for season passes and day tickets, and the season pass ticket office below Nick Wilson’s will also be open.  Early season lift tickets will be $59 (adult pricing), half day lift tickets are $47 (adult pricing) and will be available from 12:30pm onwards.

“We have been looking forward to the “Year of the Tram” and want to thank our loyal season passholders and returning guests who have stuck with us during the last two years, this is truly going to be a season to remember.” commented Jerry Blann, President, JHMR.
